Ask the skipper to let you off at the Milnbrygga wharf, where you can visit the Norwegian Clipfish Museum. Kristiansund was partly built on fishing, and especially the clipfish – split and salted cod that were traditionally dried on the cliffs along the sea.
Clipfish and bacalao are still staple foods in the region. Get a taste of some of the freshest seafood at Smia Fiskerestaurant. Located in a house from 1787, it is one of the most unique eateries in town. This live webcam overlooks a stretch of the Chūō Expressway near Moto-Hachiōjimachi, one of the key highway corridors linking Tokyo with the mountains of central Japan. From this view you can watch the steady flow of cars and trucks as they wind through the outskirts of Hachiōji, framed by greenery, overpasses, and the gently rising terrain that leads toward the Japanese Alps.
Traffic heading toward the top of the screen is bound for Yamanashi Prefecture, eventually reaching areas like Kōfu, Lake Kawaguchi, and the Mt. Fuji region. Vehicles travelling in the opposite direction are on their way back toward Tokyo, following one of the main commuter routes into the capital. Shanyuan Bay is the longest sandy beach on the east coast of Taiwan. It is significant in terms of cultural and historic importance. It is the indigenous land for three Amis tribes, Jialulan, Citong, and Dulan. In the Amis language, the beach is called "Fudafudak," which means sparkling.
Indigenous activities such as gathering food and festivals take place here. Shanyuan Bay is a key part of Dulan and only 12 kilometers away from downtown Taitung. The short 15 minute drive makes Shanyuan Bay easily accessible. On the way to the beach, visitors pass by Xiaoyeliu. In the center stands the grand St. Peter’s Basilica, one of the largest and most important churches in the world. Its iconic dome dominates the skyline and is a masterpiece of Renaissance architecture designed by Michelangelo, among others. Visitors from around the world come to admire its intricate facade, massive columns, and the spiritual heart it represents for Catholics everywhere.
In the foreground of the square, you’ll notice the ancient Egyptian obelisk, which dates back over 2,000 years and was brought to Rome in ancient times before being placed here in the 16th century. Myeongdong Cathedral was the first and most important Catholic church in Korea and is an important symbol of Christianity in the country. The church is an important icon of Korea and Myeongdong. The elegant cathedral was the first Gothic style church in Korea to be constructed of brick. The roof of the church is 23 meters (75 feet) tall while the bell tower is 45 meters (147 feet) tall. The floor plan of the church was designed around a Latin cross.
The construction of the cathedral started in 1892 and was completed in 1898. Unlike most Gothic buildings, Myeongdong Cathedral was built with bricks instead of stones. It gives the cathedral a characteristic atmosphere. The splendid high ceilings inside the church and the arches in between the magnificent inner pillars show the beautiful Gothic style well. The basement is contains the remains of nine saints and martyrs, who devoted their lives to the propagation of Catholicism in Korea. Behind the cathedral, Seongmo Dongsan (St. Mary's garden) is situated. During lunch hour, pipe organs are playing here. The garden offers a peaceful resting space after visiting the cathedral.

The webcam is located at the former Chicago & North Western powerhouse, now managed by Structured Development. This historic building, constructed between 1909 and 1911 in the Beaux-Arts style, originally housed the equipment that generated electricity for the Chicago & North Western Railroad’s terminal.
Today, the building has been repurposed by Structured Development into three floors of office and retail spaces. The Powerhouse is recognized as a City of Chicago Landmark and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. To learn more about this location, click here.

Located in the heart of Jackson Hole, Snow King Mountain is best known for both its exciting winter and summer time activities. Going strong for over 76 years, Snow King has taught many how to ski and also served as a place for family fun and special memories made. Snow King Mountain's winter playground is a site to see as it offers skiing, ice climbing, tubing and night skiing.
Jackson Hole, Wyoming boasts three ski areas. Aside from Snow King Mountain the valley is also home to the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and the Grand Targhee Resort. Hotel Union is a family-run hotel that is situated on a hill just above the centre of the tourist village of Geiranger, with a fantastic view of the fjords and mountains. The current hosts are the 3rd and 4th generation of the Melva family - the hotel has been in the family since 1897.

Castro Street is the seven blocks between Alma Street and El Camino. It is the most happening place in Mountain View. The commercial rents are not as expensive as other city areas which gives Castro Street a diverse mixture of interesting shops and venues.
This is a good area to hang out on a weekend to walk around & people watch, drink coffee, and browse some bookstores. There are plenty of restaurants, most of which have outdoor seating on the street. San Francisco's gay village is mostly concentrated in the business district that is located on Castro Street from Market Street to 19th Street. It extends down Market Street toward Church Street and on both sides of the Castro neighborhood from Church Street to Eureka Street.

Born in 1989, Berlin is queen of her domain! Whether she's napping in her sandy pit or swimming laps in her cooled pool, Berlin chooses what she wants to do and when.
Nuniq - pronounced "new-nick" - was born at Columbus Zoo and Aquarium in 2016 and arrived in Kansas City in 2020. You will frequently see him splashing around in the pool and tearing up some of his favorite toys.
Polar Bear Passage Facts:
• A 140,000 gallon pool chilled to 65 degrees for swimming and diving.
• A giant sand pit for digging (or napping) and a grassy yard for rolling around and playing with enrichment items.
• Air-conditioned bedrooms and den behind the scenes, complete with private swimming pool.
Keeping Busy:
Zookeepers plan daily activities for our bears. They use varied foods, smells, toys and sounds to change what they experience everyday. You may see our bears playing with balls, barrels, logs, or straw – they have a lot of options! You may also notice that Berlin sometimes paces, which is a habit she developed as a younger bear. The amount of time she paces changes from season to season, probably due to weather changes, hormones and natural instincts.
The Menu:
Berlin and Nuniq have a wide choice of food items. Herring, capelin, trout, polar bear kibble, lard and a selection of fruits and vegetables are all on the menu. Seasonally, polar bear weights fluctuate widely just as they would in the Arctic. In summer months, polar bears weigh much less because they are unable to hunt seals on the ice. In the winter, when hunting is possible, polar bears pack on the pounds.

The current island runway and terminal opened on May 1, 1975. In addition, the Damrak is connected to the parallel busy shopping street the Nieuwendijk. The Damrak runs between Amsterdam Centraal in the north and Dam Square in the south.
The Damrak is the oldest part of Amsterdam. The city at the mouth of the Amstel came into existence here, almost a thousand years ago. The Damrak is still the main gateway for millions of visitors and residents of the city. An upgrade of this area and thus the entrance of the city was one of the most important reasons to start the Red Carpet project in the Centrum district.

Most White Storks are monogamous and pair for life. Female storks lay 2 – 5 chalky-white eggs which are laid at two day intervals. Eggs hatch after 33 – 34 days of incubation. The incubation period is shared between both parents. After hatching, both parents take turns to feed the chicks. Food is placed on the edge of the nest by the parents but water is provided by regurgitation.
When newly hatched, young white storks have pinkish legs and a small black beak with a brown tip. young storks have two successive coats of down. Its body is firstly partly covered with short, sparse downy feathers which are whitish in colour which are replaced after around a week with a fluffy white down. Flight feathers appear after 3 weeks along with black scapulars (shoulder feathers).

The Brownville Food Pantry For Deer feeds up to 600 pounds per day of native oats (local) to help sustain the white-tailed deer population through rough winters here in Brownville, Maine. Feeding happens daily around 08:00(8AM) to 09:00(9 AM) Eastern Standard Time starting December 16th each year and continues to around the beginning of April. These are wild deer and this is not a deer farm. Some of the deer have been coming for more than 10 years. At times there are 100+ deer at the pantry. Wild turkeys also come and eat the native oats along side the deer.

The village and municipality of Dobrinj is located on the eastern part of the island of Krk, Croatia. Dobrinj is located on a 200 metre-high hill overlooking the beautiful Soline Bay.
The first written record of Dobrinj and the history of Dobrinjsko dates back to 1100. For centuries this was an extremely agricultural area. The people were occupied in cattle breeding and olive cultivation as well as in managing the wealth of the forest. Today, the village is famous for its picturesque traditional costumes, its folklore events, the sopele school (Krk’s wind instrument) and the traditional home-made cuisine. In the island’s centre, rocky houses and narrow rocky streets that breathe days gone by prevail.
Close to Dobrinj is the Biserujka cave which astonishes with its beauty and curiosity of its sediment shapes. It is the only cave on the island, among more than 50, that is organised for the reception of visitors. According to legend, the Biserjuka cave (biser-jewel) received its name from the treasure that was found in it, which belonged to the local pirates.

The Coral City Camera is an underwater camera streaming live from an urban reef in Miami, Florida. It is located along the shoreline at the east end of PortMiami in about 10’ (3m) of water. It was deployed by Coral Morphologic as a hybrid art-science research project produced with Bridge Initiative and Bas Fisher Invitational and initially funded through grants awarded by a Knight Arts Challenge grant from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, and an Art Works grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.
The Coral City Camera provides a fish-eye view into the urban marine ecosystem that has developed around the human-made shorelines of Miami. The project was launched with the idea that the incredible biodiversity living just below the waterline in Miami should be a point of civic pride that engages the public to protect what they know and love. The riprap boulder shoreline along PortMiami demonstrates that human infrastructure can offer imperiled species with refuge and functional habitat in unexpected urban locations as well as serve as conveniently accessible research sites.
While the abundance of fish and marine life makes for a real-life aquarium screensaver you can enjoy all day, the Coral City Camera also serves as a valuable scientific tool to monitor the health and wellbeing of this underwater life in a non-invasive fashion. Coral Morphologic is working with ACCRETE from NOAA to sample and record the site’s water parameters while using the camera as a research tool to monitor a coral nursery that houses fragments of brain corals (Pseudodiploria strigosa) from urban habitats in order to investigate their resilience. We are also working with Rescue-a-Reef from the University of Miami to use the site to identify the hardiest genotypes of staghorn (Acropora cervicornis) and elkhorn (Acropora palmata) corals that have been propagated in their offshore nursery in Biscayne National Park.
